Behind the Scenes on Flat Lay

I thought, as recently I posted images of some 'back to school' flat lay, I would show how I take some of my flat lay pictures.

I am not going to tell you everything about how I take the photos, but maybe just a few hints and ideas.

*I use a DSLR Camera to take the photos.

I pick a theme and look around the house for objects I could use. Eg. travel, back to school,

I use a big sheet of paper (or even sometimes an old bathroom tile!) and arrange the objects on there.

It usually takes many times for me to be happy with the arrangement.

I then set up the tripod and take the photos!

Sometimes I crop the photos or alter them a little, but mostly they are finished as soon as I take them.
