Cute and easy cards in all different shapes and sizes, perfect for summer!
A few years ago, I posted a watermelon card that I had made for my sister's birthday.

This year, I made another card for my sister's birthday, shaped in an orange this time.
This card is perfect for summer as it is very tropical and vibrant!
Step 1: Fold a piece of orange card in half
Step 2: Using a circular shape (bowl, glue stick) that suits the size of your card, draw around it and then cut it out.
Make sure there is small side of the card that connects so it is still one card.
Step 3: Draw around the cut out card on a piece of yellow paper, then draw a slightly smaller circle than the first circle on the inside and cut that out.

Step 4: Repeat step 3, but onto white paper and making a much smaller circle than the second circle.

Step 5: Glue the two pieces of paper onto the front of the card.
Step 6: Draw a small circle in pencil onto the white paper. This will be the centre of the orange and the guide for the individual pieces of the orange. Glue it down onto the other pieces of paper.
Step 7: Draw the individual pieces of the orange around the circle, then colour them in using an orange felt tip pen

Step 8: Add the final accessories; black pen to accentuate elements of the card (orange pieces, circle and salutation- optional), white pen for the seeds of the orange and anything else you would like to add

Step 9: Step back and admire your creation! Don't forget to write your name on the back of the card so the recipient knows who created this wonderful card!
