Watermelon book cover

Because it is almost Summer here in Australia, for this summer edition post, I am going to showing you a book cover I made for my very boring maths book. Below you can see my maths book before and after its make over!!

You will need:

Brown paper or wrapping paper

Red and green paint

Black Sharpie

Plain or coloured piece of A4 paper

Potato or stamp

Yes, I did say potato! I cut a potato in half and again so that it makes the shape of a semi-circle like a quarter of a watermelon. I know it is a weird way to make stamps but it actually works (though make sure to cut the potato straight or the paint won't go onto the paper)!
